Congrats to Anna and her hubby on their new home!!! The only items Anna and Marcin wanted to keep in their living room were their beautiful wedding photos, a wine rack, and their TV. Their wish list: they came to me to help create (merge) a dining area and living room area within their space; which I did plus I took it up a notch by adding a wall mounted fireplace at the end of their new dining table, placing an entertainment bar area next to their stairs that was near their sliding doors (which led to their deck outside), and adding a fun tree decal that they could turn into a hat rack. Below is a glimpse of their design with a budget of $8,000.
FURNITURE PLACEMENT LAYOUT for their eDESIGN
Decals are always fun (and super economical) so in their hallway entry doors I suggested these tall decals to provide height, visual wow-ness, and color balance.

CURTAIN PLACEMENT SUGGESTION
When I have a small budget for a design and have a lot of items to buy on my design list I suggest 2 items to save my clients money, to fill up the wall, to look absolutely elegant, and to gives a soft calm to any room. What are they? … curtain panels and curtain rods! Simple and effective! That’s what I did for Anna and Marcin’s design. Instead of adding art or photo in this wall space next to the sliding doors I added curtains that reached aaaaaaall the way to the end of the wall. I also suggested that they mount the curtain rods as close to the ceiling as possible minimal gap between the top pf the curtain and the ceiling bec it looks more custom fitted this way .. in other words the curtains would look more luxurious and expensive!
FURNITURE FOR THE eDESIGN
The furniture I found for them included the transformer bar table with stools, the table goes from a small square table design (for easy storage) to a large rectangular design (for holiday and special events). Pretty cool huh!
THIS IS THE WALL I ASSIGNED AS THE BAR ENTERTAINMENT AREA
(their wedding photo panels + new bar table, new bar stools, new wall mirror, and bench for lounging)
